Airato connects to your existing clinical environment via DICOM RT standard objects — CT, RTSTRUCT, RTPLAN, RTDOSE — and exchanges plans via C-STORE/C-MOVE with any conformant TPS. No proprietary protocol required. It does not replace your TPS; it adds an optimization layer that exports back to it.

DICOM RT round-trip import/export with any DICOM-conformant TPS. CT, RT Structure Set, RT Plan, RT Dose objects supported. Tested with MedVision TPS and PlanCore RT (synthetic) class systems.

Linear Accelerators

RT Plan export compatible with Varian, Elekta, and Hitachi linac classes via DICOM RT Plan. No direct machine communication — plan exported to linac-associated TPS or plan management system.

Hospital Information Systems

HIS/RIS order and scheduling connectivity for patient demographics and appointment data. HL7 FHIR and DICOM Worklist supported for patient data import.

DICOM Network Configuration

Airato operates as a DICOM node on the clinical network. Configuration requires:

  • Static IP assignment within clinical VLAN
  • DICOM AE Title registration in the sending TPS/OBI
  • Port 104 (standard) or custom per institutional firewall
  • Airato IT integration guide provided on deployment
Air-gapped deployment supported. Airato does not require internet connectivity for clinical operation.

Airato provides a documented REST API for departments that require automation of plan submission and retrieval workflows.
