Daily Re-Planning Sequence

Each step in the adaptive cycle corresponds to a physicist-verified action. No automated delivery without explicit approval at each gate.

Daily CBCT Acquisition

CBCT image acquired at treatment position. DICOM CT received from linac on-board imager.

Deformable Registration

Daily CT registered to reference CT using deformable image registration (DIR). Deformation vector field generated per structure.

Auto Re-Segmentation Review

Deformed contours propagated to daily image. Physicist reviews and corrects any deformation errors before proceeding.

Dose Re-Optimization

New plan generated from deformed anatomy using the same DVH constraints as the reference plan. Fast re-optimization using warm start from reference plan fluence.

Physicist Approval

Physicist reviews updated DVH, checks constraint satisfaction, approves or rejects the adapted plan before export to linac.
